With her bridesmaids living all over the country, Jenny decided to keep things easy and let her maids take their pick of Jim Hjelm dresses in periwinkle blue. To her surprise, they all picked the same style -- a long dress with spaghetti straps and an Empire waist.
Joe and his groomsmen donned ivory roses teamed with sprigs of lavender and tied together with silver wire.
Jenny carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangeas, gardenias, orchids, roses, and Scottish thistle to complement her ivory satin ball gown.
As a token of thanks, Joe gave his groomsmen classic cigars and pocket watches.
The reception took place at the Phantom Canyon Brewing Company, where tables were draped in ivory linens to match Jenny’s gown, and topped with short cobalt blue vases packed with ivory hydrangeas or tall silver vases filled with blooming hydrangea branches.
Short cobalt blue vases packed with ivory hydrangeas alternated with taller arrangements.
To match the wedding color scheme, guests toasted the happy couple with blue-hued champagne.
After a family-style dinner of black Angus tenderloin and grilled lobster tails, the couple cut into a five-tiered mad hatter-style cake. Each tier featured a different flavor, from strawberry cake with lemon filling and strawberry schnapps to marble cake with mocha Kahlua filling.
As Jenny and Joe danced to "God Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts, their backdrop was the sun setting behind the Rocky Mountains.
Jennifer and Joseph first met in Jenny’s hometown of Coronado, California, near where Joe was stationed in the navy.

While they were inseparable from the start, their relationship started slow—Joe was about to be deployed. “Throughout the deployment we depended solely on emails,” Jenny remembers. “By the time he came home we were crazy in love.” On their one-year anniversary, Joe proposed at a bar overlooking Coronado in front of a group of their friends and Jenny’s grandmother.
